This is more of a curiosity message than anything else. Just wondered if any of your technicians know if it is possible to open the Powerpoint.exe file using an *.inf (autorun) file.

I've inserted several long .wmv movies in powerpoint. They play great. Is there any way I can add vcr-like controls so users can control what parts of the video they watch (like fast forward, rewind, play, stop)? Thanks.

In a few months I'll be giving a lot of presentations in a classroom setting. As I like to walk around during a presentation, it's rather inconvenient that I have to walk back to my laptop to press the spacebar for the next sheet or animation element.

Does anyone know of a resource that details the steps for properly saving a PowerPoint presentation for the Web? I'm looking for a 'best practices' kind of guide that simplifies the process for the non-technically inclined. Thanks much for your help.

this is my first power point presenatatin and I need to save it to a disc to use on the laptop but when I try to save my presentation to the CD drive, I get a message that says the folder is "read only" and cannot be saved to the D drive. How do I get it to save? Thanks.

I know I can zip a Power Point Presentation and email it, but how can I keep others from editing it after they open it? And.....do any other files need to be attached (for example the music file) to hear sound? Thanks!
