I have some old(3yr) .avi files which I can insert into a slide and it
plays with out a frame or "start/stop" buttons and a progress
indicator, when I insert a  "new"  .avi file recorded from a wintv
card, or any .avi files in the Gallery  I get a display from one of

When I save my presentation as a Webpage, there are xml, html, jpg, gif, ...
files created in a folder.
My question is now: how does ppt generate this html & xml-files? Is there a
webpage or tutorial that explaines how a powerpoint-presentation is

PPT 03 has a keyboard shortcut to start a slide show from the current slide.
In PPT 02 the only way to do this is to click on a tiny button at the bottom
left of the window.
Can a macro be written to simulate that key click and start the slide show

I have a problem in XP copying from Excel to Powerpoint.
I have run the same process of copying in Windows 2000
and it works but it fails when I try it in XP.

My immediate problem is that I have sounds allocated to one or more slides.

Is there anyway to skip a slide such that when you press
back you will go to the skipped slide?  Maybe somehow
creating an automatic hyperlink that you do not have to
click.

I notice in Word there are buttons available called 'Save all' and 'Close
all' which are very handy when working on several documents at a time.  I
don't see anything like that in PowerPoint 2002 SP-2, this ng or on-line.

I have four excel graphs placed as objects in PowerPoint.
Each time I save the PPT presentation all four graphs
revert to the same "last" selected Excel graph. How can I
lock the graphs to prevent the change from happening.
