Just upgraded to Office 2003. When I try to open some powerpoints from previous versions, I get the error message: Powerpoint can't read <filename>.ppt. Please help!

Does anyone know how to execute an *.exe file in Powerpoint presentation. Is it possible at all? I would like to insert a flash presentation into one slide (and operate on it). There is a number of swf. files and one exec. If I start it (flash.exe)
