We have some laptops with Win XP Pro and Office 97 Pro.  We have a problem
with PowerPoint.  When the user is attached to our network, everything
works fine.  When they are disconnected from the network, PowerPoint starts
to have problems.  They can't save documents that they opened ...

I cannot open PP with the shortcut on my desktop or
through the Start, Programs menu however if I click on one

Okay I have been fighting this for about a month now and
everytime I think I have it figured out it still messes

thanks sonia, i have powerpoint.  but i received the file
in slide show format.  there is no option to print - does
any one know how to  - the action buttons don't rely help
either.
