When I try to insert music from a file, or a cd track, it wont play on my
slide show. All my music files are saved, in an .mp3 formatt, and i can't
transfer them to .WAV, is there a setting i can change on my powerpoint? and
if not, how can i make songs play off of a Audio Cd?

I've read the other threads regarding linking multiple PowerPoint
presentations together but although the solutions are called "automatic",
they are not as fully automatic as I am trying to achieve. I have about 10
different presentations (some very large) that I am trying link ...

I have a big word document that I'd like to publish on our intranet. It would
be bettr if I split it into smaller webpages, based on the different headers
(levels 1 to 3).
Can this be done automatically?

Everytime I try to open a word or excel file, I get a message in the
beginning stating that this file is being used by user xyz..., do you want to
make a copy.

Are slide transitions only applicable to a linear
advancing of the slide show? If I use an interactive menu
slide, the hyperlink works but in jumping to the correct
slide, the transition I assigned to destination slide is

I'm in the market for some thing to control my presentations.
For the most part I will be using the TV out or a possibly TV > VGA solution
to work with a dual monitor setting on my lap top.
It must be USB compatible as I have no serial ports.
