When I try to insert music from a file, or a cd track, it wont play on my slide show. All my music files are saved, in an .mp3 formatt, and i can't transfer them to .WAV, is there a setting i can change on my powerpoint? and if not, how can i make songs play off of a Audio Cd?

Everytime I try to open a word or excel file, I get a message in the beginning stating that this file is being used by user xyz..., do you want to make a copy. Can somebody help me how to eliminate this error.

I'm in the market for some thing to control my presentations. For the most part I will be using the TV out or a possibly TV > VGA solution to work with a dual monitor setting on my lap top. It must be USB compatible as I have no serial ports.
