I'm trying to use make the FielSaveAs Dialog popup so i can acquire a filename and direct the save to particular loction on our network, but i cannot for the life of me find any documentation on the PoerPoint Dialogs ??

I have a presentation that links to an Excel Sheet. I would like to put some code in behind a button that would break all the links to Excel. I have tried recording a Macro, but this does not work.

vids:mjpeg decompressor not found when trying to insert an avi movie; am able to view w/ WinMedia player10 but not the mplayer32.exe media player get same error as do in PPT....

We have several powerpoint presentations that contain a 60 second video in WMV format. The slide that contains this video is part of a 140 slide, very large PPT file. Whenever the presenter gets to that slide, it can take up to 10 seconds for the video to open and begin play.

I have a file that no matter what I do the file size will not reduce. I deleted all the graphics, took out the background and it still is a very large file, Is something embedded in it that I can't get to?

I was hoping I could use .PPT slide shows on my frontpage web, but due to the time it takes for the website to open it up I just figured well maybe a .MHTML (saving as a webpage) slide show would be fine. That doesn't seem to work at all on my browser or is there a trick to it

I recently posted about 2 computers of similar spec, one which 'judders' on wipes, and one which wipes cleanly. Having done all the helpful things suggested (defrag, DMA vs. PIO, acceleration down, driver updates) I discovered by running Task Manager that

Strange thing happened. A presentation copied from a PPT2000 machine onto a memory stick and then on to our 2003 laptop had two 'empty' slides - the background was there, but all the slide content had vanished. The slide had been edited on a number of different (2000/XP/2003)

Is is possible to switch data from a column to a line in a Line/Column chart on 2 Axes. I have changed to information to the correct axes, but can't manage to change from column to line.

Has anyone used this? Is it worth getting? I am thinking about purchasing. I saw one post on 321 Studios board that you have to press a button on the DVD player to advance the slides? Wondering if this is true, some cases this will be good for me, but in most I would want it to play ...

i purchased this product and does nothing for powerpoint. recommend camtasia. A lot more cost but captures what you put into your presentation. I is supposed to capture your sound, but i am still having problems with sound. It
