I've spent 2 days designing a presentation in PP2003 and just learned that
my host only has PP2000. Assuming that we can't get our hands on a laptop in
time, how compatible will my work be with their earlier version?

My PPT works fine and advances slides automatically till I insert an MP3
sound file.  Then when the sound file plays, the slides stop advancing.
By clicking the right arrow key TWICE to advance, the slides again start to
auto advance.

Using Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2000, SP-3, created a new
presentation today, everything going fine for awhile. Create new
slide, Title slide..... but now, want to edit Title Master and cannot.

I used the 'print screen' function to save a screen shot as a picture (.jpg)
in Powerpoint. When I retrieve the saved picture, it appears as a black box.

I am curious if there is a way to copy and paste slides from one PPT file to another and to keep the formatting (background, colors, etc.) from the original PPT without applying the master formatting from the new PPT file.

In previous versions of Powerpoint, there was a method for not applying
information on a master slide to the first slide in a presentation.  Does
this option still exist, and if so, where can I find it?

   when I change the backcolour I want to change the backcolour on the
control  the AmbientChanged is not  raiseing event when the control is used
on the powerpoint slides.

Is there an absolute limit to plot length in PowerPoint?     (using a HP755CM
plotter should be able to continueously plot up to 50 feet)
