I have been facing problems to display avi files when running Power Point
Office 2000.
I had recovery my HD, reinstalled all service packs of Windows and
reinstalled the Office 2000.

I've added an OLE object to my powerpoint. The link starts a program I want
to demo as part of the presentation. When I click on the link icon, I keep
getting a warning about running the program may cause a virus.. how do I shut
the warning OFF?!?

i have tried inserting it as the help suggested. ( insert movie or sound from
file) an icon shows up, but it doesn't play when i start the presentation.

Is there a way to not let a PPT file run when its a link on a web page? I
just want visitors to save the file to their computer not actually run the
Presentation. I don't have an FTP option on my site.
