How do I enlarge bar charts within a powerpoint slide ?

I tried simply going into PowerPoint and opening the existing Word document,
hoping it would convert into slides.  It tried, but very unsuccessfully.  
Gave me a 250 page presentation with every sentence pasted in as the "title"
of each slide.  Copy/paste is very time consuming, ...

I have a MSWord list of 30 titles that I want to paste into PowerPoint so
that each of the titles becomes the title of a separate slide. Is it possible

We are new to PowerPoint, and tried to use <Tab> to indent. We didn't
know <Tab> created a new level of bullet. Now, we are trying to remove
the extra Margin Markers.  We tried <Shift>+<Tab>; that shifted the
text, but didn't remove the extra markers. How do we get rid of them?
