I have a laptop with preinstaled Windows Xp Home Edi SP2.
When I click on a text box to type something the blinking cursor appears,
but when I press any key on the keybaord I get an error beep and no letter or
number appears in the text box.

I've installed Ms Office 2000 Premium (Full installation) on my PC.

When typing an equation in powerpoint, the text color can only be black. It
would be nice to have an option to select a different color for the text,
thus allowing for smooth blending in the existing background (if it is a
"drak" background).

I have created a power point slide show with animations and sound clips.  The
small sound clips actually get copied into the presentation with no problem.

When creating a new slide, the new slide layout options have objects that are
outlined in display mode, but are not visible when viewed.
Can I turn on this outline feature for new text boxes or other objects?
