I have a presentation that I created a year ago.  It seems to have an
embedded read only font in it and now I can do anything with it.  Any
thoughts on how to work around this.  I don't see which font is different
than what I already have on my system.

I am trying to overlay an object on a chart that is a black circle with a
number or letter inside the circle. The number or letter must be transparent
so that wherever on the chart I move the black circle, the number or letter
will take on the background color of that part of the ...

I'm looking for help with a macro that would do the following:
For each slide in the active presentation,
Recover the layout type
Reapply the layout type

I recently had a new hard drive installed because I had many problems with my computer.  I lost PowerPoint, however I still have the cd.  The problem is that I don't have that varification code so it won't install.  Is there anyway to get around that?

I have "link to file" the images of my powerpoint
document and I would like to know if it is possible to
see the field codes in Powerpoint like in Word? I would

For a course I am taking I must publish my PowerPoint presentation on the
university's server using Cute FTP. I followed directions from a web site on
how to save my slide show for the web. It works perfectly on my local
computer, but when I try to upload, the basic web page goes ...

Like, I saw a presentation that involved a picture of 4 people who first where
all visible, than became shadowed and where individually lighted out by a
spotlight effect.

I'm using Office 2003 (Powerpoint v. 11.5529.0), and when somebody using
Office 2000 (Powerpoint v. 9.0.3821) sends me presentations (either on a CD
or via e-mail) the presentations appear to be empty (the number of slides
checks out, but they're all empty)..... it therefore ...

slide. The reference to this file is absolute, however, I want to be able to
burn this file to CD and run on another computer that may have different

to play on a dvd player.  Is this possible?
