How can I have horizontal AND verticasl slides in the same POwerPOint
presentation?

Title says it all really, a client is trying to open powerpoint 2000 files on
powerpoint 2003 but is unable to open them, any help would be appreciated.

I am putting together a slide show and I have some long panoramic pictures.  
I created these panoramic pictures by stitching together several pictures.  I
would like to use PowerPoint (or other tool) to view the pictures as paning a
movie camera.

I think I know the answer to this already, but I'll ask anyway.  I need to
pause the background music on one slide to allow a sound clip to be heard
when an image is clicked on.  Is this possible?

Is there any way to display a message during the time that it takes for the
first slide in a large PP show on CD to come up?  The 2003 viewer flashes a
screen announcing itself but it disappears immediately, leaving a black
screen.  The 97 viewer displays a "please wait" message ...

  When I insert a bullet in a textbox and type the points, my text gets
pushed 5 to 6 spaces away from the bullet and I can't backspace my text
