I receive this message "ActiveX component cannot create object." when I try
to launch Powerpoint 97. Once I click "OK" the program launches and I can
work in Powerpoint. Does something need to be fixed to make this message not
appear?

Does anyone know is it possible to get Java applet -panorama into Powerpoint
file just like the pictures?

be in some other office program ? like my present edges are rectangle. i want
to give them a round, smooth edge... how to do it ??

I know how to add sound to a slide or to a slide transition.  What I can't
seem to figure out is how to play a song throughout the presentation so that
it plays continually, that is, it doesn't start from the beginning with each
new slide.

I have a gif image in PowerPoint that is an airplane pulling a blank banner
behind it.  I would like to somehow type text onto the banner so that when I
animate the Gif and have it "fly" onto the screen it pulls with it the
desired text.  Is this possible and how?  I tried ...

when i draw a new rectangle, the preview border lines are not visible (but
drawing a new circle or line, the preview works properly).

I am in an academin setting. We build ppt presentations for students and post
to web pages. They will print them and we want to lock the print function
from 'slides' to '3 per page' and 'black&white'

Windows XP Pro w/ SP2.
With either a blank presentation or an existing one, if I resize any text or
picture window for more than 1 second, or if I select something from the menu
for more than 2-3 seconds.

I have Powerpoint files (with audio) that I want other users to view and hear
without having to have Powerpoint installed on their machine.  I was hoping
Windows Media Player could somehow be used, but file formats do not seem to
be compatible.  Any suggestions?

I tried to insert an animated file type "shockwave flash" in my powerpoint presentation, but during slide show only the file name appears not the contents. I appreciate your help
