Why is it that some of the music files on "my music" do not play when I add

I have Powerpoint 2000 on an XP Home, SP 2 machine.  I installed XP fresh,
applied SP2, and than installed Office 2000, with all service packs.  I
cannot get WMA or MP3 files to play in a slide show.
The same show will play on a notebook with the same configuration, only

I have been using Wordperfect office suite for years but now would liike to
convert to Microsoft Office (because the wordperfect programs, particularly
quattro pro, won't function in the windows xp enviroment).
My Question is where do I get the file converter mentioned in the help ...

I use PP 2003 for multimedia presentations. I want to do narration on some of
my slides, but also want music to play behind the narration as well-hw can I
do this-when I tried to record narration, it didn't allow music to be
there-can the level of volume of music be controlled?

I'm working in PowerPoint XP.  The show I'm doing calls for narration,
which I've placed in the show.  Yesterday afternoon I placed
transitions between slides.  Most of them are working fine, but there
are two or three that are changing later than what I set, and two that

I don't know if I imagined this but it seems to me that I saw a
Powerpoint presentation once where instead of entering the commands for
the slide show directly onto his laptop (he was projecting through a
data projector his presentation on to a screen) the presenter held a

When I create a custom PowerPoint template and use a custom bullet in the
master slides when I then import a presentation onto that new template it
does not take on those custom bullets and I have to go through and put them
in manually. Why is this? What am I doing wrong?

Howdy!
I have a dual monitor setup, and I'd like to have one copy of
Powerpoint 2003 open on one side, and another seperate copy of
Powerpoint open on the other monitor.
