In earlier versions of Pp I could play a video while the presentation
of the slides was continuing. The video kept playing and the slides in
the background kept advancing. We could even tell Pp ow many slides the
video should keep playing.

I have inserted a .wma sound file from my computer into PowerPoint.  How must
I do this in order to have another user hear the music if this filed is
emailed to another computer?

I've done a bar graph in PowerPoint 2003.  I went to make a correction to one
of the bars and I deleted by mistake, now I can't put another bar in the
graph.  Note, as soon as I deleted the bar I tried to undue, but didn't get
that option.

How do you save a PowerPoint file WITHOUT SAVING THE NOTES??  I want to send
someone a file, but I do not want them to be able to read all my notes.  I
have tried to do this in the Master View, but when I go back to the
PowerPoint - all the notes are still there.

   I have code to create slides and objects, but I would like to turn off
screen activities during this process, then, when it finalizes, turn it on
again.

Is there a way in PowerPoint to paste a fairly long Word document into
PowerPoint so that a series of slides are generated automatically?

I am using Powerpoint 2003.  I have a picture of an object that sits
on a blue background, that i copied and pasted into windows paint.  I
then cropped out most of the blue background around the object, so i
can save the object and choose it in powerpoint.  It just so happens

The video works fine in other programs like real one player and windows media
and it is like ten seconds long but when i put it in powerpoint it only plays
audio and the screen turns black.
What do I do?

When I view the same PPT file on two different machines with the exact same
version of Office 2003, some characters are not displayed correctly. The most
problematic characters seem to be braces that are oriented horizontally
rather than vertically. These often appear as 123 or ...

I have a slideshow with a lot of notes on each slide. I would like to print out the notes view with the good sized slide at the top and the notes at the bottom. I seem to remember there was a way to have any remaining "notes" overflow to the next page, rather than truncate.

Can I create a relative hyperlink to a file on a server?  Right now if I try
to do that it automatically adds the http:// in front of the file name.

For some reason I downloaded Powerpoint (Presentation1). Now everytime I
try to download a file of any type (Text, graphic) Powerpoint hyjacks it
and spews out jibberish. I deleted it from the C drive and out of trash
but it still activates How can I rid my computer of the pest?

I am using Sonya's "CD maker" with the auto-boot feature, which works just fine.
However, the only way out of the CD is to esc, esc, esc, one esc for every slide. This isn't very practical or professional looking. What am I missing?
