Hi, I get emails with attachements that are in pps format, when I try to open them I get a message that windows cannot open the file. What do I need to do to get them to open? Thanks

I have tried and failed to record a macro that performs the function of Edit/Paste/Unformatted Text/OK in PowerPoint 2000. My recorded macros come up as empty 'subs'. Can I get around this limitation with VBA code? I can't seem to...help. Thanks.

When I print a power point presentaiton there is a white border arond the entire printed copy. Using scaling in the print menu does not work to get rid iof the borders. How can I print with no white space?

Argh, I'm pulling my hair out! So, I successfully change the default swatches in MS Graph so I can have my bar chart use custom colors. Then, as soon as I double-click the graph to edit the info, the colors and swatch pallette immediately revert to default colors. The only way

Am I the only person in the world who things the Presenter View sucks? I've been searching for an alternative and all I see on the web are rave reviews of it. I definitely think it's better than having no Presenter View at all, but its UI is far below the standard for Microsoft ...

I know I used this icon not a week ago, now cannot find it. One icon increased the line spacing in a text box and the adjacent icon dereased the line spacing. Just had to click on the icon and the whole line moved up or down. I'm going nuts trying to find it again. Any help would ...

When inserting a degree symbol, powerpoint automatically defaults to a double-byte MS PGothic font. I have tried to change it through "insert symbol", using key strokes and changing/replacing the font, but it still defaults to MS PGothic.

Can anyone direct me to a source that presents coding rules for hyperlinks in an easy to understand format? I understand the basics. Is it possible to write the link so it goes to a sentence or word on a reference document where you can't add bookmarks? What are the limitations.
