I have tried to create my own slide design template and put it in with the
others. It shows up in the slide design window as available for use looking
just as I designed it, but when I try to use it shows up as a blank slide.

When developing and running  a presentation in Powerpoint 2003, the slide
items are automatically advancing after a few seconds even though the items
are set to advance only when the mouse has been clicked.  How do I stop this?

When I am in the Presentation mode, if I hold down both buttons of my mouse
it loops back to the beginning of the slideshow (which is what I'm going
for), but I also get the critical stop sound when I do this. Anyone know how
to disable the sound?

In Action Settings - Play sound, you can import a sound from a wav file
(the function SoundEffect.ImportFrom File also does it).
I would like to be able to substitute a new wav file with the same name
and have the sound change.
