I am finding a huge drop in speed of response in my new Powerpoint 2003 version. I was fully proficient in the previous version. The response time is now incredibly slow so I think there must be some setting that is out of kilter, particularly when trying to work on org charts ...

I am working with a PowerPoint 2003 presentation. I want to display and use the Guides. I select "Grid and Guides" from the "View" menu and select the checkbox to enable Guides. Nothing happens. I cannot make the Guides visible.

AVI movies embedded in PowerPoint 2003 are choppy and play poorly on Toshiba 17" laptop. Same files work fine on Dell desktop running PowerPoint 2002. Solutions?

I have a song (mp3) playing throughout my presentation however i want to create a button that allows me to ask the reader if they want the music on or off...how would i create this??? how would the music just "turn off"?

I searched for this topic but didn't find exactly what I'm after .... I have a presentation in which I would like to run a macro and use a MsgBox to return the ActionSettings of a shape. For example, when NOT in a show, I want to select a shape that has, say, a "Next Slide" action ...

A (intranet) network password is asked when starting up some of my PowerPoint presentations. Just closing (and not filling in username and password) this window gives me the correct presentation. There are also no internet links created in the presentation.

I have a user who has a Sony Vaio PCG-591L, screen resolution is set to 1024X768. They use many Powerpoint presentations with video in them. The video shows up fine on the presentation board but they want to see the video also

When printing from PowerPoint I am getting a Dlg DLL error message 'version errorof ucf file' This comes up 4 times and then it prints normally. PowerPoint is then difficult to close. I use Windows XP Home and PowerPoint 2002 SP 3

Is there a way to present 4 different powerpoint charts in slideshow mode (no borders around the screen) using one computer? I have an Appian Phoenix RADEON 9000 QD but I can't seem to figure it out. Thank you.
