I have a presentation that runs in kiosk mode and I have several hyperlink
buttons in it. What I would like is to have a button that simply closes the
presentation - or even closes PowerPoint. I guess I'll need a macro or vb or
such - but that's a bit beyond me.

I want to have a slide that has the Windows Media Player object on it.  When
I goto that slide I would like to pass the movie name I want to play.  Is
