Does Power point web presentation require any power point plugin for IE in

When I click my slide in a Slide Show to go to the next slide, I want two of
the objects (pictures) on my slide to fade out. I tried Custom Animations,
but I ended up having to click once to start the fade-out, and click again
to go to the next slide.
