I have my handout master set to include a page number, which it is doing
fine. Problem is, I will insert an pages in a resulting PDF and need to
override the starting page number on the following handout page -- similar to
Word's ability to set page number per section

I frequently have to copy and paste objects onto PPT and find myself having
to resize these objects and cropping them.  What's the quickest way to do
this?  I was hoping I could create a custome keyboard shortcut to peform this
action, but there doesn't seem to be this function ...

We have one computer that will not display images on a few webpages at all.  
The webpage was created by using Powerpoint - 'Save As a Webpage' feature.  
The webpage is a slideshow with text and graphics.  The text works fine, but
none of the graphics are displayed in Internet ...

exel but I can´t. I have take the icon for handwrinting (an the other icon
for pen writing) up to the line, but ther are not ...

Is it possible to create hover text or popup text in PowerPoint? I'd like to
hide some additional descriptions, but have them available to users who will
look at the slide show on their own PCs. Please share how if you know a way
to do this.

Is there a way of creating and adding to the AutoShape toolbar my own custom

I've instaled PowerPoint 97 viewer which enables me to view and print the
lecture notes.  However, one limitation of this viewer compared to the full
PowerPoint program is that it does not appear to have the "handouts" option
which prints multiple slides per page.  Is there a fix ...

I would like to password protect powerpoint shows and then launch from a menu
program into Power point viewer. Is there a command line switch I can use to

I am faced with a problem.
I need to know all the hyperlinks in a PPT .
I am using the following two ways to extract them, but neither is satisfying
my requirement.

In PowerPoint 2000 I am inserting pictures from files. I get an error dialog
window that says "Your log file: C\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft... is
getting large. You may want to delete this file soon."
Unfortunately the dialog window is not large enough to display the full ...

I am trying to do layout for a book in powerpoint. Is it possible to have
text boxes in certain places on a page as well as 6 slides shown?  Do I
export the presentation into word?
