Created a HUGE .ppt file - 160mb.  File burned to CD (including all of the
.mp3 files, video files, etc.) Tested on 5 machines and they work beautifully
from Win98 up to WinXP.
However, on two WinXP machines, I get a message "Windows cannot open this

Does anyone know of a place where I can download (preferably for free) slide
transitions for powerpoint that are somewhat like the ones Keynote offers?

I am trying to create my own design layout for the background.  I want the
background to be black and the picture I want to include as a part of it is
white and black.  I want to make the black parts white and the white parts
black.  How do I do ?

I'm working on a new template that has a thick bar across the top and a

you limited to just the five levels

I am having trouble once I have saved a ppt file with the mpeg on the same
CD.  When the CD is inserted into another computer the MPEG doesn't play.  
The slide just has a black square box on the slide.
Any advice?

I cant see any images or templates in " Normal View", all other views are
fine.  I have tried running repair and reinstalled but its still the same. In
the view tool bar drop down list the first item is " ERROR: No locale data".
any ideas?

when this person opens it i want it to open in slide view

in "crawl" mode, i want clipart/etc to move even more slowly than the "very
slow" option will permit.
can ms/ppt image/transition speed be made slower than "very slow".

New to Powerpoint and made my first presentation, although it needs some

I have a slide that has one large jpeg and I have placed 5 white rectangles
over different parts of the jpeg to reveal them through animation in
intervals.
But, when i went to print - it only printed in white b/c of the rectangles.  

I am in a college class right now, and my instructor assigned me the
challenge to find out how to change the ruler to inches for her. PLEASE HELP!

All of a sudden the PPT program hangs when I try to insert an image from a
FILE (not from the clipart) on ANY prestentation.  Rebooting is the only
solution. (I'm using the 95/98 version of ppt)...
