In powerpoint 2002 the background image disappears when a slide is cut and

Does anyone know how/if you can incorporate a live webpage into a
continuously running PowerPoint  (without clicking on a link). What I want to
do is provide a information to visitors and then have a "live" weather page
showing current temperatures/radar, etc.
