at work I have powerpoint 03 over a win 2000 system -- I've been inserting
some images as objects and it works fine
at home I have powerpoint 03 over an xp (home ed with sp2) and all I get is
the file name of the jpg !!  no image ...

I can't get Powerpoint 2003 to recognize my second CD drive when I try to
package to CD.  It keeps trying to write it to my DVD drive.  Is there any
way to change that or will I have to continue packaging to file first?  I'm

I have done everything I can figure out how to do, I unhide the applications
settings and then opened microsoft..but it has no template folder under

I purchased a gateway pentium 4 computer and installed my 2000 version of
office. Powerpoint works fine as long as I dont' have the tiled / slide
sorter view.  When I do this view, it takes a long time to load and won't

I've copied slides from other presentations with ANIMATION that works, but
one they're in my presentation...NO ANIMATION...what have I done wrong?  
I've even created new slides with new animation...the preview works just
fine but when I go into presentaion mode...NO ANIMATION.. ...

Im not able to open more than ONE session of Powerpnt in my system (Office
XP and Win XP SP2). If do Start--Run --Powerpnt then it opens a NEW ppt FILE
but it opens the same within an existing PPT session.
Is that normal?
