when I insert a picture, I always have to right click on picture then format
- size and click on best scale for slide show and select 1024x768..but I want
to have this option as default for all pictures which will inserted, is it

I'd like to convert a self-running PowerPoint slideshow to an MPEG, AVI, or
other video format so I can save it for playback on a traditional DVD player.
Any ideas?

Can a report created in MS Access be pasted into a ppt slide?
What automations would be possible, like a dynamic export from Access to PPT?
Would I have to use Excel as a intermediary?
Is there a different technology to do ppt-type presentations with Access?

When I programmatically (Using PowerPoint Object Model) insert an image into
a slide during slide show run time, custom animations with trigger type
("With Previous", "After Previous") gets animated again. Why is this so? Can
we prevent this from happening?

presenter’s notes. I can not remember a full week’s presentation out of my
head. I am running the presentation over multiple monitors, actual slides on

Is there a password protection option (as per Excel) for Poweropoint ?
Or is there some other way to stop unauthorised persons opening a
powerpoint presentation ?

When I attemp to use my clipart, I receive this message.  Clip organizer
cannot complete operation  0x80004002.  no such interface error code.

I am populating a PPT file via a VB macro within Excel.
Everything works fine, except the following:
When I update the contents of a text box, then check its .height
property, I find that it does not reflect the new size of the textbox -

I have done all that was suggested, that is put all items in one folder but
still the music won't play on other computers.  I suspect because the music
is protected, according to Windows Media Player.  Is there a way to go around
this? I am only trying make an educational ...

are there steps in creating your own web page to publish on the internet
through ms power point. i just started my own business and don't want to pay
money out the ears for someone to set one up for me.

I want to create an opening slide that will have 2 rows of images.  The top
row will consist of 6 images, same size, in a row with now space between
them.  THe bottom row will be the same but different images.  I want the top
row to continuously scroll to the right and the bottom ...

why does powerpoint not offer more options for the back ground picture?
In powerpoint, I would hope that you give the user more background picture
options, for example if they create there own picture to be placed in a
document they might want to manipulate it.

I have a PowerPoint presentation that I share with others.  Everything should
stay the same on it every month but somehow someone ends up changing colors,
font..... Is there any way that I can "read only" everything & only the data
that changes every month be changed?

PPT can be humbling. I made a slide with several bulleted headings,
inserted pictures between two of them, arranged them to come out in
order with the animation, and all seemed well.
