I saw a great powerpoint presentation where the numbers came in with
background noise of a typewriter effect. I can't find that anywhere in the
"add effect". Does anyone know how they did that? It looked really slick!!

We're building a product catalog in MS Powerpoint, and I'm curous if there's
a way to make a dynamic page of sorts, that would allow for searching within
the presentation. Has anyone done this before, or would I have to write a
macro?

a user here was sent a power point from another user...in this power point
there is a pyramid that is filled in with a grey color and lined with
gold/yellowish color. the user that received this power point does not see
the grey in the pyramid or the yellow/gold - it's just black ...

I am using Microsoft PP 2002 for XP.  I created about 35 .wav files in our
sound studio and am using each one on a different slide.  All work except for

I am working in PPT and every time I create a new Text box in a particular
presentation the Text is doubled; like shadowing text, but it is automatic
colored making it impossible to read.  I have checked all the font settings,

I think it would be a good idea to add voice recognition as a trigger in a
powerpoint presentation.
For example, you could write a script to go along with your presentation and
powerpoint would follow allong with the script until you hit a trigger word

I am copying a formatted spreadsheet from Excel 2003 and pasting as an
"Enahnced Metafile" into Powerpoint.  When I do this, I lose the font
colors.  If I paste as a Bitmap then the colors come across just fine, but
the clarity is greatly reduced.

I wonder if my friends can load the background music in the powerpoint
that I sent. The music is not downloaded from ClipArts, it is a custom

When I added music from my file to a slide show, the first slide froze while
the music played on.  I could not get the rest of the slide show to play.  I
removed the music and now the slide show works fine.  I want to play music
with the slide show.  How can I get it to work.  ...

I have my slide show put together with music.  I click on View slide show and
it just stays on the first slide.  I have gone into the slide show setup and
clicked on "automatically" but still nothing.  How do I get it to advance.
