On an XP Professional SP2 workstation with Office XP Sp3. When ever I try to insert a picture from file I get a convert image screen asking to convert the image to bitmap, jpg, etc. The image is a jgp file and saved on a network drive mapped file share.

I have a Powerpoint file that will not open. Powerpoint 2003 says it cannot read the file yet a co-worker can open it in the 2002 version of Powerpoint. If I look in the folder and view as thumbnails I can see the picture of what is in the file. Can someone help me open this?

Our company requires three fields centered on the title page - Title, subtitle, and date. The title and subtitle I can do with the autolayout feature that allows clicking into the field to fill it in, but I can't figure out how to make a date field like that.
