I have a presentation with some hyperlinks within the file and some
hyperlinks to other files (in the same folder). When the
other-presentation-hyperlinked object is moused over, a yellow tag appears

Here is the problem:
User unable to open MS PowerPoint, using this method, opening powerpoint
program, Click on File, Click on Open, there no File View Windows display.  
That would be same with user saving the files using File, Save As.

I have created a power point slide show on my desktop.  I saved it to my
memory stick so I could play it on my lapstop through a s-video cable.  When
I start the slide show it starts fine then when it gets to the fifth slide it
goes blank and does not come back on until slide 9.  ...

I have always used the Pack N Go option (.ppt) on finalized presentations
creating both one with and one without the viewer for users.  Is it better to
use the Pack N Go or just save as a .pps file?
