On my laptop on the formatting toolbar I have the options of transition,
custom animation, view show. However, on my desktop the formatting toolbar
does not show those options.

Is it possible to turn on/off animation at the individual slide level - i.e.,
build custom animation into each slide but switch it off animation for
selected slides at show time?

I was wondering if you can have just 1 slide in your presentation be
portrait while all others are landscape.  It seems to be all or nothing right

I have a friend with PowerPoint 2003 on his HP laptop.  Also Windows
XP.  He has several slide presentations created on an earlier version
of PP.  When we try to run the presentations on the 2003, you can get
as far as slide 10 on one presentation, and slide 6 on another before

I need to know how to change the background colors of a predesigned template,
without changing the design.  I used the one with the bubbles and child, but
my boss want's a lighter color (other than green), can I change this?

when you hit the bullet box in the taskbar, I get :
bullet-hyphen-hyphen-hypen    (only 4 levels instead of usual 5)
instead of bullet-hyphen-smaller bullet-smaller hyphen-right arrow
someone may have altered or erased the default file that stores these

When I try to fill a cell in a table, it comes up with a 3-d effect.  When I
go to the 3-D settings, all options are greyed out so I am unable to remove
the effect.  Fill and 3-D works fine with all other objects and shapes.

i imported some graphs from excel in powerpoint as a hyperlink (to the
excel file). now i want to delete these hyperlinks by using a macro. do
you have any ideas how to handle this? i already tried to record it
with the macro-recorder but got no results.

I am writing a code in C# to get formatted speaker notes from a ppt to html.
I am able to access the speaker notes text by using
"TextFrame.TextRange.Text" . But this is a plain text all the formattings are
lost. I want keep the formatting intact when displaying the speaker notes ...

I have not been able to indent the second or third lines of a bullet to line
up with the top line's indent. I want this cleaner look for my presentation.
Any suggestions?
