How can I save a Powerpoint 2003 Presentation into a 300dpi tiff file?

Has anyone ever noticed that when you work with really large size ppt files
with lots of graphics pasted into them, the files do really weird things?  
Like periodically X out graphics; move graphics around between pages on its
own when new graphics are pasted in; and distort ...

Anybody familiar with distilling a PPT file to PDF?  When I do this with my
current template, the file size of the finished PDF file is at least double
the size of the PPT file.  When I begin, my PPT file is 3.5Mb.  As it is
"printing" through Distiller, the file size jumps to ...

The Summary Slide button is disabled when one particular slide is selected.  
Even if everything is deleted from the slide the Summary Slide button is

I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to insert SMIL format audio and
video clips into Microsoft PowerPoint. When I try to, the error message says,
"Cannot insert sound from the selected file." I know SMIL is a Real/Quicktime
format, but I'd hoped there was a way around that ...

When I try to open a document in PPt, I get an error message that reads, "PP
T can't open the type of file represented by c:/..."  There are charts in
this document that are linked to excel.  Any suggestions on what to do?  

Anybody know how to turn off animation tags?  I need to adjust a motion

I have inserted a video clip (avi) into a Powerpoint slide. When I click on
it to play, the audio works but only the initial frame is displayed.
This file is a clip converted from a MOV file to AVI and I am working with
Powerpoint 2003. The clip plays in Media player.

Using Powerpoint 2000- A user's default language is Spanish, yet when a spell
check is attempted, the message states that "Powerpoint cannot locate the
spelling files for the default language..."  Strangely, a spell check is
successful in Word in Spanish.  Any suggestions?      

Is there a way to view PP at 720 x 480 resolution?  I am converting a PP

I am faced by a peculiar problem.
I need to find out the shape id of all the shapes in a ppt.
I can get this very easily in PPT XP and 2K3 using ShapeID property but
unable to get it in PPT 2000.

my users are using Powerpoint 2003 and there are a couple of questions.
1. Can the notes pages be saved as PDf files?
2. It is possible to save the handout pages as a file, as there only seems
to be a handout option when printing.

I want to pick time from System time and display in my power point
presentation, so that during the presentation everyone can see how much time
has elapsed and I can keep track of the same.
