I have followed directions but the presentation will not run automatically
(loop).

I am using Windows XP in my office and the technology department have
set some kind of security policy that if I am not around for more than
5 minutes, the computer automatically gets locked and I have to unlock
by pressing CTRL+ALT+DELETE keys.

I am having problems with inserting AVI files in my presentation. MPEGs work
fine but for some reason the powerpoint will not recognize AVI files. The
error message says that cannot display this type of sound or movie. Why does
it keep doing that?

Recently, I took the PowerPoint 2003 cert test, and one of the questions
required me to set a 40% grayscale background.  Fortunately, I passed the
test, but try as I might, I can't find out how to do this.  Help, anyone!

Is it possible to download 'custom animations' from the web to import into
PowerPoint. I've checked the Microsoft site but can't find any.

run the program with ppt 2003, everything works ok but when I package it for
CD with ppt viewer, my links to certain slides would only go to the first
