Following a recent holiday I have a very large number of images which I would

Are there written directions for inserting movies that actually work.  The
directions in the help files don't work on my computers.  I have been able to
do this before(2-3 years ago) but can not do it now using directions in the
help files.

I am having trouble with several different movie clips with a .avi extension.
These clips play fine in Windows Media Player 10, but when inserted as a
movie file into Powerpoint 2002 and started, the screen goes blank when the
animation begins.

I have a Power Point presentation that has grown to large to email -- over 10
Mbytes.  I edited it by 50% for timing purposes and it actually grew in size.
I cut it in half by deleting half of the remaining slides and it still

I put an .AVI file as my background, but when the file runs all of the text
on the slide goes away. It doesn't appear to be behind the video, it's just
disappears as it runs.
