Is there anyway to prevent a movie slide from reverting back to the first frame of the played movie, for a split second, right before advancing to the next slide? I've created several presentations

I'm using Powerpoint 2002. I want to able to pack the presentation, including sound to a CDR. It would allow me to save to that drive...says you do not have permission. Anyone that can help with this?

When I play my avi movie in WMP 10 it looks great. When I link it to play in Powerpoint 2003 , it plays, but the resolution seems reduced and there is more noise in the images. How can I fix this? Why can't it play from PowerPoint using WMP?

I am getting an error message when I try to compress a presentation. We "save as" and then choose to compress pictures to 200 dpi and an error pops up. Any idea why this is happening? Is this a virus, error on a particular image, or program bug? Help please!

Assuming file size is not an issue, what is the best format to ensure compatability of video clips with PowerPoint? I have used mplay32.exe to test and test and test and have come to the conclusion that it doesnt matter if mplay32.exe can play a video... only half
