I just learned from the MS-PPT newsgroup that PP2007 will still not support
overlaying text over live video.
I cannot believe how far Microsoft Powerpoint has lagged in this one area.
Please convey to the development team that YOUR USERS WANT THIS FEATURE !

How do I stop the screen from having to go blank when using the Tab key to
move from cell to cell?

I have added a footer in my presentation which displays the file name, but I
do not want this to show up in slide show view. Is this possible?

When trying to insert clipart I see the clipart files as generic icons with
the text "dglxasset"... I have read the solutions proposed here and elsewhere

I am having difficulty with putting a mappoint map into powerpoint without it
getting distorted. When I print from mappoint it is beautiful but then when i
put it into powerpoint it comes out wrong. What can i do?

I hope you don't mind me raising the topic again but I was hoping to find
out if my query relating to mouseovers was first of all 'doable' and secondly
if I could borrow some of your time in achieving a solution.

I have several excel charts linked to a presentation.
The links now look like:
C:\Documents and Settings\user1\My Documents\filename.xls!Chart1
I used the edit links macro (http://www.pptfaq.com/FAQ00433.htm)

I don't want anyone to be able to save over the original. I need to keep the
original intact but allow people to makes changes to the file and be able to
save it into their own folder.

Tried to open a ppt file created on a PC. The file contained a slide with two
large scanned images. When clicking through the slides Powerpoint crashed
when it attempted to open this slide. When trying to open slide sorter view,
Powerpoint crashed.

Has anyone else had trouble getting certain Addins to install or remain
installed?
Flashback has always been rather finicky in this respect. It will be there

My biggest issue is that I will have multiple charts to have in PP that will

I need to unlock images on what I think are on the master slide. Maybe the
images are on another layer? I'm confused as to why I can't move images
