How can I hide objects on a slide until I start an animation? I have a presentation from someone that has many objects on the slide, but when I run the slide presentation, several do not show until an actual animation effect occurs. How is this done? Thanks.

How can I put page numbers on slide master and change fonts to make them readable on all slides? "Help" process does not work, and never has. Many people gripe about how hard this seems to be.

I am just a home user and have found my way round to making a slide presentation but even though I click Insert - music from file etc. and the little speaker shows up, I click automatically for the song to start with the first slide, but it remains silent.

All, I was wondering if there is a way to import a chart from excel into powerpoint, and update the data on the chart in powerpoint if the data is changed in excel. I am pretty sure it can be done, but unsure how. Anyhelp?

Anyone here have any experience using OfficeFX? If so, is it reliable and would you use it again (when appropriate, of course)? Sorry in advance if this has already been covered. I've done a search through the newsgroup archive and didn't come up with anything.

I have inserted animation into my slide but when the show ends, I want the entire slide to stay on the screen instead of going black and instructing you to hit the Esc key. I also want my users to be able to print it off (complete).

I want to save my presentation on a removable disk (CD) but when I do, the sound I inserted from my Media Library does not play when the presentation starts. Do I need to save the sound file on the CD as well? Please help!
