When I go into the "Edit color scheme" and customize my colors, there is a
line for "Accent". What does "Accent" mean? I understand about the hyperlink
option, but I just can't figure out what the option for Accent is for.

I use PowerPoint 2003.
When I record a sound from the recorder in Windows XP and then add it in my
presentation, the sound quality is good.
But when I want to record it directly from PowerPoint, the sound quality is

We are using Powerpoint 2002 sp3 with all updates and since end of last week
this has been crashing. This was a network install and was working fine

I created a presentation and deleted the animation.  Now I get 65 slides in
front of my presentation that defaulted to the name QUIKANIM.ppt - I have to
delete this presentation every time in order to see my original presentation.

When I open up the dialog box and link to a slide where I can see a preview
in the right-hand pane, the hyperlink will workfine .

Still a newboy - Ok - I understand how to set a mouse click on a text block
or object in a slide to take me to a particular slide...
...but how can I set the mouse click anywhere within several (not all)
slides to go to a particular slide without having to be selective where I
