I have Powerpoint slides that use information residing in various Excel
spreadsheets on the same shared drive. How can I link the data from the
speadsheets to the slides so I don't have to manually enter the data each

Examples of problems:
- copy-paste of picture resizes automatically all images, also a title pop up

Doing File -> Properties->in a Powerpoint presentation gets you access
to the General tab on which the size of the file is available.
How that this information be accessed by using VBA?

Hello, as I work with PowerPoint in English and Dutch version I try to
install the dutch version on my laptop on which the English version is
allready running. As I do not want it to overwrite the English version I
created an 'OfficeNL' folder in which I only intalled PowerPoint ...

Is it possible to keep an inserted image from being resized once it is placed
on a slide?  I was asked this question in a PowerPoint class as a student
would like to "lock" the dimensions of an image after it is inserted.

Graphs that have been imported from excel into my power point presentation

I just don't seem to be able to get into the debugger to figure out
what's going on in an Auto_open module.  I guess it's because of the
sequence of events that takes place when I bring up PowerPoint.  Is

I have Powerpoint 2000 installed on my XP machine.  When I open Powerpoint,
the File option is not on the menu bar.  All the other options, i.e. edit,

When I go to Format-->Background, I notice that there seem to be two
options for black in the default palette? Is there any difference in the
two black choices? I was hoping that when I format the background to
black, (rather than choose a pre-made dark background) that PowerPoint

I am currently using Powerpoint 2003 and I want to save slides in a LOWER
TIFF compression than the default setting.  When I go to "File"  "Save as",
there are no  options to adjust the compression.  How do I accomplish this?
