Can I take a Powerpoint slideshow and burn it to a DVD to be played through a
DVD player through my TV?

I've recorded a macro converting selected text to superscript. This
works fine, as long as the desired changes are always in the same
relative position on a slide. How should I change the macro that the
current text selection is being dealt with rather than the recorded

1) i created a slide in PowerPoint, I inserted a movie inside to play
automatically (memu, insert, movie and sound, from file)
2) following suggestion here, the movie was picked up from the very
same directory where the slide livese

I opened a ppt file attachement from yahoo webmail and edited it extensively.
I saved the file by clicking "save" and CTRL-S on several occasions.  Now

I think it would be a good idea to have bookmarks in PowerPoint. I have a
presentation that contains hundreds of slides. I am usiing this material over
several weeks. It would be handy to be able to bookmark the slide I finished
with so i don't have to scroll down.

I have a slideshow on PowerPoint 2000, and it's accompanying lecture is on a
.wav file (35,000 kb). I have the timing on the slides set just the way I
want it and I've used the inserted "sound from file" option to start the
audio (and I changed my "link file larger than..." to 50 ...

I'd like to click the mouse; This will fade out a portion of Slide 1 and
then automatically advance to the next slide after the fade is complete. I
don't want to have to use two mouse clicks to do this. Is this possible?

I created a PPT Template with both title and slide masters.  When I apply the
template to a presentation that has been sent to me, the color scheme, as
well as several text boxes don't update.

Is there a way to open powerpoint WITHOUT opening a new file at the same
time?  When I go in to PowerPoint, a new file always pops up.  I'd rather it
