I have a powerpoint presentation that i need to have converted to a word document with the ratio of 1 slide : 1 page with formatting left preserved, and still allow for corrections to be made by someone else, who does not have powerpoint. HELP!!!

Working in ppt 2002 on Windows XP. I have received a .pps file. Usually these play when opened. For the second time in 4 months I have a file that is not recognized by Powerpoint. Yet others can open it easily on their machines. I tried saving it , with .pps
