I create a lot of PPTs for my own business often with a large quantity of
links to documents i.e. pdfs so that I don't have to have all the information
on the slides.  Sometimes, my presentations can contain links to many
different files and folders.

I have used the Package for CD (PPT 2003) to put the ppt files onto a
CD.
I have a ppt file acting as a menu with links to other "menu" slides
which each have links to say 20 ppt files.

when I try to insert a picture file, my power point freezes up and I can not
continue.  Any ideas?

They use to play just fine but now many of the movies just show black first,
then whent they play they turn white.  I know they are playing because
"custom animation" shows the time scale moving.

I have a PowerPoint presentation that has a linked Excel file.  The
gridlines show in the PowerPoint presentation and in the Excel file.
Is there any way to have the gridlines not show in the PowerPoint
presentation while still having them show in the Excel file?

I have a powerpoint presentation I want to load on a CD and then when
inserted into the computer this powerpoint presentation begins.  Also, I have
3 word documents that need to be viewed.  Can they be linked to the
powerpoint?

I would like to play a loop in the background and have general instructions'
playing before my presentation begins. However, when the movie starts my
words go to the back and can't be seen.
