A friend sent me a photo album in Windows Media format.  I have some of my
pictures to add to it.  Is there a way I can open the Windows Media file
(.wmv) in powerpoint to edit for her.  Thanks.

I have been working on a powerpoint presentation with about 100 slides
transitioning by fade set to music.  For some reason, I can either transition
slides, or have the music, but not both.  Is there some set-up element I'm
missing?

I created a test template using hyperlinks for my daughter's daily math facts
which gives her 4 answer choices on each slide.  I would like to create a
scorecard which records the number of attempts made on each slide and
possibly give her a grade.  Any suggestions?

If you use PowerPoint to do status presentations and project updates, you
have to hard code the value of the file name, creation date, and any other
items that in Word can be done with filed codes or references.  This would

Hi, I have tried just about everything and I cannot figure out how to email
an individual slide to a prospect. When we do email a prospect a slide from a
powerpoint presentation, do they have to have powerpoint to view the slide or
will it save it in a different format?

I use outlook express, but the computer is set to receive updates and accepts
outlook updates which wants to overide express.  I have deleted outlook from
the control panel, but it shows up when I press t he button for mail on the

On my Mac can see complete PPT presentation, but when try to use on PC many
images are missing with the following comment: Quicktime and a GIF
decompressor are needed to see.

Hi, I work for a helpdesk. One of our users has a problem but none of us seem
to be able to come up with an answer. What happens is that in PP, he clicks
on the Open Doc icon. You then get the open doc box, but half of it is greyed
out. You can fix this by clicking Views-->Lists ...

Does anyone know how I can create a true Scatter Chart in PowerPoint without

When I'm in View/Slide Master I can see one autolayout text box on the master
title slide.  Then when i'm in View/Normal and go to insert a new title slide
it defaults to one with the autolayout text box in the right place, but
another one called subtitle underneath that is ...

sound quites: what can i do to play it for N slides? For example, i
wish the music XX from the first up to the 14th slide, the the music DD
from the 15th to the21th.. and so on....

Is it possibly to set incidental music (audio background) to PowerPoint
