On some files, when I go to File | Open, the previews are clear. On
others, the previews are fuzzy. The problem previews have larger fonts
than the non-problem ones. It seemed that "Save Preview Picture" would
be the solution, but so far it is not. How can I get clear previews? ...

I would like to do the following. I have a picture (of a fly) in the centre
of the slide, with a frame somewhere in the picture (around the eye of the

I cannot get a full screen slide show started.  As best I can tell, this
problem started after I merged two presentations.  My Task Manager shows it's
running but I'm still in the Normal view.  I've tried the repair option but
that didn't work.

I am unable to open files with a .pps extension. Powerpoint gives me a
message stating that it is unable to read this even though it is supposed to
be a powerpoint readable file.  One is a document downloaded from microsoft
and powerpoint tells me that it may not be a microsoft ...

I'm having a problem w/ PowerPoint on a Mac while importing SWF files.
On two different Macs (running OSX 10.4, if that matters) and two different
version of PowerPoint (version X and I believe 2004), I try and import an SWF
file using the "From File" option for importing a movie, ...
