Is there any definitive news on whether the 2007 viewer will be able to fully
run a macro enabled show (.ppsm) / macro enable presentation (.pptm)?
Presumably it will - otherwise why have the option for a macro enabled show?
Just planning ahead.

We used to run our VB6 program to generate PowerPoint slides and send them
to our clients through email. Now we need to do similar things through our

I have a JPEG, GIF or TIFF image which i need to 'ungroup' so that I can
manipulate each section of the image, the 'group' 'ungroup' options are

   Is there a maximum # of slides with PowerPoint 2000?
Anything after 255 brings cpu to 100% usage. I am using a W2K machine, 1 GB
RAM, 2.8 Ghz processor.

Is it possible to view powerpoint notes on my monitor (in addition to the
slides) yet project just the slideshow, for a presentation? This way I can
look at my notes as I give the presenation but my audience just see the
projected slideshow.

I was working in powerpoint, and saved in compatibility mode to .ppt. Norton
antivirus immediately pops up telling me i have that virus in the .tmp file
and in the .ppt.
