I need to include an effect in a presentation where a rubber date stamp
appears, stamps a date and then disappears. Does anyone know of a website
where this kind of effect is available or is it going to be a long night?

I have found some of those Jeopardy powerpoint templates on the web, and I
was going to use it in one of my classes as a game for the kids.  I wanted to
divide the class (15 students) into 3 groups.  I was going to hook up the

I am having difficulty "locking" the size and position of a content holder.  
I set a placeholder to be 3" x 4.47", .48" and 1.49" horiz and vert from the
top left corner.
I paste an Excel chart as a picture into the placeholder.  It appears to be

When I save my slides (save or save as) they wont save so that when i double
click on them they don't open as a full screen show. I've tried the settings
in slide show menu, (kiosk and open in full screen option) and as a ttimed
show, but it always opens up ready for editing in ...

When I open my powerpoint project it opens to the edit screen.  I want it to
open to a full screen, ready to be displayed.  How can I do this?  Thank you.

I am using more and more PowerPoint thanks to the Beta 2007, whereas before
I was using other tools for my presentations. Now with the huge step forward
thanks to the beta, I've switched to Powerpoint :-)

I have a show running in kiosk mode, and I use hyperlinks to jump from a
contents slide to other .pps.   As you hover over each link, a 'tooltip' kind
of window pops up, showing the entire path to the target file (the other
.pps).

I have a slides with level one and level two bullets. I want the level 2
bullets to fade in one at a time. When I select animation, they all appear
with the the level one fade in.

I have been asked to present a A3 poster to be designed on powerpoint. I use
powerpoint 2007 beta2. I can see how to do this on 2003 as I have a handout
on the earlier system showing "slides sized for" in page setup.

Is it possible to change the aspect ratio (width divided by height) for
slides in PowerPoint? If so, how do I do it?
My presentation will be shown on a wide screen monitor with an aspect ratio

I used the “package to CD” utility provided in 2003 and made a copy of my

is not as bright as the original and the letters are broken and difficult to

I prepared a chart from an Excel file and brought the chart into Powerpoint
(so I guess it is now linked). I need to move the location of the Excel
spreadsheet but not the location of the Powerpoint chart.  Will that mess up
the editing of the chart function should I need to use ...
