How can I count characters and spaces in ppt files ? Txs.

In cases where the powerpoint slide has multiple bullets and sub bullets
used, how do we ensure that each of the bullet/ sub bullet appears animated
based on the animation scheme chosen?
For example, if the slide contents are as follows
