I created eyes with a colored circle autosphape and a smaller black circle

I'm trying to do a simple slide presentation......each slide is a photo and
caption.  However, the images when imported are huge.
What's the command to have each image downsized at proper ratios to fit into
the slide image box?  Do they all have to be resized before bringing them
