I set up a slide to use the typewriter animation to enter text on a slide. What I now want to do is after the text appears, have a line drawn through it like you would do to cross out an error. I am using PPT 2002.

Can anyone tell me how to create a slide that will allow animation of blocks sliding in (the blocks will have text in them) as if building a brick wall from the foundation upwards. I've tried doing this with auto shapes but they wont animate.

I'm trying to make sort of a painting demo, where I'd like to have a series of small boxes of different colors (swatches, if you will) along the bottom of the slide, and the shape(s) making up the illustration of a house would change color based on which swatch is clicked.

I would really like to disable the virus scan. Takes up a lot of time. I have Office 2003 and Norton Internet Security in WinXP. I have tried regsvr32 /u "c:\program files\norton internet security\norton antivirus\officeav.dll" but it fails. Get return code of 0x80070005.

PP 2002 Normal view has Outline and Slide tabs. PP 2000 seems to have only the Outline view in Normal view. Any way of seeing the mini slides down the side of the Normal view? I know one can switch Slide Sorter view but that is inconvenient most times.
