I have a tutorial that came with my tablet PC that shows a powerpoint slide
show menu that has a next and previous button on it.  I can't even find
anything on the slide show menu in the help, and the two-button slide show
menu I've been able to get showing does not have those ...

I was told that you could buy third pary add-ins to powerpoint to make the
program look really good. Can anyone let me know the name of one of these
programs or recommend a good one to me that they've used.
Just so you know I'm using powerpoint on a Mac \.

I am very new to PowerPoint and I'm learning the basics pretty well but I
see references made to Slide Master. Can someone explain what it is, what is
the purpose of using it, and briefly how to use it? TIA

textFrame in powerpoint :

I want to insert a field into the slide master that is automatically updated
each time I change the file name (i.e. versioning).  Is there any way I can

Is there a way to have powerpoint generate an automatic border that indicates
progress in a presentation, like:
Topic 1 >> Subtopic 2 >> Sub-subtopic 1
It is nice to have an indication of "where are we" during (especially long)

I need to regularly export Access reports to PowerPoint for distribution (not
sensible, but that is the way the boss wants it!)  Right now, I export to
RTF, fancy it up a bit, run a macro to put it into a table, then copy into
PowerPoint as a picture.

O.K. I bought my computer last year.  I see it has the 2003 Powerpoint Viewer
but cannot find Powerpoint itself.  So did it come with my computer or is it
a separate purchase.

Does anyone know how to recover a Powerpoint presentation file that was
overwritten once?  Was there a copy saved to a temp file somewhere for
