HELP!!!! I had microsoft office in my computer but never could get it to open
so I went to the website for powerpoint. I downloaded two files for it which
was office2007 and istalled it after it taking 5 hours to download and now I
cant find it.

Essentially, I'm trying to:
· Check all the shapes on a given slide to determine if they meet certain
criteria (shape's name contains a specific string, or shape's tag has a
specific value)

I have a presentation that has some links associated with it. Also, three
photos on the first page.
Whenever I first open the presentation -- even if I can cancel update on the
links -- the screen still blinks; jumps about and refreshes itself three or

I want to place a counter in a powerpoint presentation that will start at 0
and will, thorughout the presentation increase by 1 every 30 seconds or so
and not reset to 0 whenever the slide changes.  Is this possible?

How do you link to an .xnk / exchange public folder ? I've tried a
couple of methods to get round the
'you can't link to this sort of file' error message that powerpoint
gives me.  () copying the /public folder

We do presentations in church, when we set the words up and preject them
usually some letters are cutoff?
The text box is the same size or close to the size of the full  slide. We
have adjusted the prejector a little, but it still does it on some slides.

converts powerpoint presentation (pps, ppt) to:
- video (avi, wmv, asf, mov, mpg, mpeg, mp4);

i have read one answer here that if you want to send any show to your friend
by email then save as SHOW then it will automaticaly open in show mode.
But i have office 2003 and when i save as that presentation file and send it
to someone else through email.

I have to collect data in dynamic way (from file) and insert that data
into a powerpoint presentation. The file is changing every second.
Then, if the value of data in file is apropriate, the movie from mpg
file has to be shown.

I'm trying to embed a 2 meg video clip in a PPT. I insert it, works fine, but
won't run withiout the video file stored on the same computer/folder. Is
there a way to connect it directly to the presentation?
