We have instructors who like to embed their videos (that is, cause their
videos to play within the PP interface and linked to the original video file)
in powerpoint (2003), but they often come up against a small problem on our
instructor stations:  the powerpoint works just fine, ...

Suddenly, every time I open any PowerPoint File, by double clicking it, I get
a different view. It's like a browser view, not the normal editing view. I
cannot edit in this view. The only way I can get to my normal view is to use
"Open As...." .  Extremely annoying. Can you help ...

When goint thorugh a presentation it hangs and don't react on mouse clicks
for 10-20 seconds each time I stops on a slide more than a few seconds.
The same presenations can be run on other PC's without this problem.
I don't know if it is a PowerPoint problem or a OS problem.

release, PP 2007 has been given a (pointless) graduated backdrop. As any
graphics person will tell you, this makes their work impossible. We are
adapting to this by exporting to Photoshop, doing the work there ...
